This guide walks you through everything you need to go from a blank VeluraHQ workspace to running your first content workflow. By the end, your Google Search Console and GA4 data will be flowing in, your Brand Kit will be configured with your voice and tone rules, and you’ll have executed a workflow that produces a reviewable draft — ready to approve and publish to your CMS.
1

Navigate to app.velurahq.com and sign in using Google OAuth. If this is your first time signing in, VeluraHQ automatically creates your user profile and a default workspace — no manual setup needed. You’ll land on your workspace dashboard and can start connecting your data sources right away.
2

Connect Your Data Sources

Open Settings > Integrations in your workspace to connect the tools your team already uses.
  • Google Search Console — Pulls page-level clicks, impressions, and query data so VeluraHQ can surface performance trends and decay signals.
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — Adds engagement metrics to your page intelligence view alongside search data.
  • CMS (WordPress or Webflow) — Required for the publish handoff step in any workflow that pushes drafts to production.
  • SEO tools (Semrush or Ahrefs) — Optional but recommended if you use keyword research or backlink data in your workflows.
For full setup instructions for each connector, see Integrations.

Configure Your Brand Kit

Navigate to Brand Kit in your workspace sidebar. Your Brand Kit is the governance layer that travels with every workflow and agent run — it ensures every piece of content your team produces stays on-brand without manual prompting.Add the following to your Brand Kit before running your first workflow:
  • Voice and tone rules — Describe how your brand communicates: formal or conversational, the vocabulary to use or avoid, and the emotional register you aim for.
  • Target audiences — Define the personas or customer segments your content is written for.
  • Product lines — List your products or services so workflow outputs can reference them accurately.
  • Writing guidelines — Capture any structural or stylistic rules: heading conventions, preferred formats, citation style, and length targets.
For a full breakdown of Brand Kit fields and best practices, see Brand Kit.

Run Your First Workflow

Go to the Workflows module in your workspace and select a template to get started. The Content Refresh and Article Generation templates are good starting points for most teams.
  1. Open a template and review the pre-built workflow blocks.
  2. Configure the inputs — typically a URL, a target keyword, or a topic prompt.
  3. Add a human review gate between the draft block and the publish block so your team can inspect the output before it goes live.
  4. Click Execute to start the run. Workflow output populates in real time in the Output tab.
Once the run completes, open the Review tab to read the draft, leave comments, and approve or request revisions before publishing to your CMS.For a deeper walkthrough of workflow blocks and templates, see Workflows.
