How Actions works
VeluraHQ monitors four signal types simultaneously across your content:- Search performance — Clicks, impressions, and ranking position over time
- Site engagement — Sessions and engagement time, tracking how users interact after they land
- AI visibility — Citation share across AI engines and answer platforms, tracking your AI search presence
- Competitor activity — Rival page changes, refresh events, and ranking shifts that affect your competitive position
- The evidence — The specific signals that triggered it, with supporting data
- A recommended fix — A concrete, suggested remediation tied to the signal type
- An impact score — A priority ranking that reflects how much traffic or visibility is at risk
- A one-click execution path — A direct route to the Workflow, Sheet, or Cowork that will fix it
Action types
Refresh Content
Pages with citation decay, traffic loss, rank drops, or stale evidence. An average of 24 live opportunities surface at any given time — content that still holds authority but needs updating to stay competitive.
New Content
Topic clusters and prompt gaps where competitors are being cited and you are not. An average of 18 live opportunities identify where a new page or section could capture citations and rankings you’re currently missing.
Offsite
High-intent community threads and citation opportunities where your brand can add value and earn a mention. An average of 9 live opportunities surface active conversations where you’re currently absent.
Priority scoring
Every Action has a Priority Score from 0 to 100. Rather than surfacing every possible issue at equal weight, VeluraHQ ranks the queue based on what is most worth your team’s time right now. The score is calculated from three factors:- Business impact — How much traffic, rankings, or citations are at risk if the issue goes unaddressed
- Time sensitivity — How quickly the situation is deteriorating — a rapidly declining page scores higher than a slowly drifting one
- Signal confidence — How reliable the underlying data is — high-confidence signals from multiple sources score higher than single-source signals
Executing an Action
1
Open the Actions queue
Click Actions in your workspace sidebar. The queue shows all open Actions sorted by priority score, with type badges, signal summaries, and scores visible without opening each item.
2
Filter by type or priority
Use the type filter to narrow the queue to Refresh, New content, or Offsite Actions. You can also filter by priority band to focus on high-priority items first.
3
Read the evidence
Click any Action to open its detail panel. Review the evidence that triggered it — the specific signal changes, the timeline, competitor context if relevant — and the recommended fix VeluraHQ has attached.
4
Choose your execution path
Select how you want to execute the fix:
- Route to Workflow — Opens the relevant Workflow with the Action’s context pre-filled as inputs. The best path for single-page fixes you want to execute immediately.
- Route to Sheet — Adds the Action and its evidence as a row in a Sheet, ready for bulk execution alongside similar Actions. The best path when you want to batch multiple related Actions together.
- Route to Cowork — Opens Cowork with the Action context loaded, so you can work through the fix conversationally or ask Cowork to build and run the full pipeline.
5
Execute and track resolution
Once you route and execute, the Action moves to In Progress status. Track it in the queue until execution completes and the Action moves to Resolved.
Tracking resolution
Each Action moves through three states: Open → In Progress → Resolved. Resolved Actions show the measured impact of the work your team completed — clicks recovered, citations regained, ranking improvements confirmed. This closes the loop between content action and business outcome, giving you a concrete record of what the work was worth. In the last 30 days, VeluraHQ users resolved 126 Actions with measurable lift, at an average time to fix of 1.4 days from first surfacing to resolution.VeluraHQ rescores all open Actions daily. An Action that is medium priority today can move to high priority tomorrow if a competitor refreshes a competing page, your citations drop further, or click-through rates fall below a new threshold. Check the queue regularly — the ranking reflects the current state of your competitive landscape, not a snapshot from when the Action was first created.
